Our mission is to empower all children to uncover and share the power of black history, its culture, and the stories of the individuals that have shaped our world.

Our organization advocates for social justice, elevates black voices, promotes black excellence and highlights black American achievements.

I was inspired to establish BAE because of the limited focus on black history in educational settings.  I wanted to create a platform that would provide more comprehensive and accurate education and representation of the accomplishments of black people beyond enslavement and highlight the importance of learning and respecting the history of the African diaspora.

We believe that with more visibility and representation, the Black American community will be given the opportunity to excel and be recognized for our tremendous accomplishments and contributions.

We are funded by donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations who share our commitment to social justice and elevating black voices.
